Data Protection Declaration
Dear visitors to the Conergy website,
We are pleased that you have visited our website and would like to inform you, as best we can, not only about our services but also about our data processing activity on the website. The following disclosure is meant to inform you about how we handle the collection, use and storage of personal data.
1. Usage data
The following usage data is automatically collected and stored on our web server:
-
The page from which the file was requested
-
The name of the file
-
The date and time of the request
-
The transferred data volume
-
The access status (file transferred, file not found)
-
Description of the type of web browser used
Regarding the processing of IP addresses, see the explanations about the relevant analysis and marketing tools.
2. Conergy Partner Login
We use the login or registration data for accessing the Conergy partner area solely to authenticate you as a professional user and to provide you with the information available there. The information is not transmitted to third parties.
3. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. ("Google"), in accordance with the rules of the regulatory authority which has jurisdiction over us, the Hamburg Data Protection Official (http://www.datenschutz-hamburg.de/uploads/media/GoogleAnalytics_Hinweise_Webseitenbetreiber_in_Hamburg.pdf).
Our website has been upgraded with an anonymization code; i.e., Google first truncates your IP address within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional circumstances will the complete IP address be transferred initially to a Google server in the United States and only then truncated.
On our behalf, Google uses this information in order to analyze your use of the website, to compile a report on the website activities and to provide to the website operator other services connected to the use of the website and Internet. The anonymized IP address, which is transmitted by your browser as part of the Google Analytics process, will not be merged with other data of Google.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies": text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies regarding your use of this website is transmitted to, and stored at, a Google server located in the United States.
You may prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate adjustment to your browser settings. We would remind you, however, that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. You may also prevent the collection of the data, which is generated by the cookie and relates to your use of the website (including your IP address), by Google as well as Google’s processing of such data, by simply downloading the browser plug-in from the following link, http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de, and then installing it.
4. Right of objection and data deletion
According to § 15 (3) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), you may object to the creation and use of a pseudonym use profile and demand that the saved data be deleted. In this case, please direct your objection via email to our data protection official (see item 8). If you wish to have your data deleted, please also contact the data protection official. We shall then immediately delete the personal data stored about you. In any case, a deletion will always be carried out if the data is no longer required to perform the purpose pursued through the storage or if the storage of the personal data is impermissible for other reasons prescribed by statute. If there are mandatory grounds prohibiting the deletion of data (e.g., a statutory minimum retention period), then the data in question will instead be blocked from access.
5. Right to information
You have a right to obtain information about your stored personal data. You may at any time demand the correction of incorrect data as well as the blockage and deletion thereof. Upon your request, we would be happy to inform you at any time about stored data regarding your personal details. If you wish to obtain information regarding your personal data and its use or, instead, intend to correct the same, then please contact the data protection official (see item 8).
6. Contact enquiries
Any personal information, which you disclose to us through the "contact" field, will be used exclusively for that purpose; namely to contact you. If, using the contact form, you wish to contact one of our professional consultants, then we would welcome your consent to let us use your data within the Conergy Group and its network partner companies – subject, of course, to your right to revoke such consent at any time.
7. Security of your data
We deploy technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your data, which we manage on your behalf, against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons.
8. Data protection official
For information, requests or suggestions regarding the question of data protection, please feel free to contact our data protection official at any time.
